Werner Brell leads a media company focused on creating and delivering world-class programming across all media platforms. Werner joined the US effort after his tenure as a senior management team member for its global headquarters in Austria, where he established a centralized digital media organization serving more than 150 Red Bull markets that produced double-digit growth in viewership and revenue. Under Werner’s oversight, RBMH NA has seen landmark achievements across all platforms, from the company’s first National Sports Emmy and the largest TV licensing deal in its history to the commercial release of films that have enjoyed unprecedented success; the development of the second-most subscribed sports channel on YouTube; and publication of one of the fastest-growing global men’s magazines, The Red Bulletin.
Prior to joining Red Bull Media House, Werner held senior management positions at Viacom International Inc. and Dailymotion, and was an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York. Werner earned a graduate degree and doctorate in Law from the University of Vienna School of Law, as well as a Master of Laws in General Legal Studies from the New York University School of Law.
